GCSE Results 

We are immensely proud of our students and their outstanding achievements. Whether they achieved top grades or surpassed their own expectations through remarkable progress, every success is worth celebrating. We look forward to welcoming the majority of our students into the Sixth Form this September, and we send our very best wishes to those moving on from Brentford School for Girls as they begin exciting new courses elsewhere.

We also wish to formally acknowledge and celebrate the dedication of our teachers and school staff, whose tireless commitment has ensured that Brentford School for Girls continues to deliver the highest quality of education. Our sincere thanks also go to families for the invaluable support they have given both to our young people and to the school community.

As our students step into the next chapter of their learning journeys, we are excited to see all that they will accomplish in Year 12 and beyond.

A Level Results 

We are incredibly proud of the outstanding progress our students have made, with so many exceeding their target grades. This year, 28% of all A Level (and equivalent) grades were awarded at A*–B, and 58% at A*–C.

Subject Highlights:

  • 100% of students achieved A*–C in English

  • 93% achieved A*–C in Sociology

  • 80% achieved A*–C in Film Studies

  • 77% achieved A*–C in History

  • 73% achieved Distinction*–Distinction in Health & Social Care

  • 70% achieved A*–C in Psychology
     

The vast majority of our students secured places at their chosen universities, including Russell Group institutions and others such as the University of Manchester, University of Southampton, University of Westminster, Royal Holloway University of London, and the University for the Creative Arts.

They will be going on to study an impressive range of subjects, including Accounting, Architecture, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Fashion Design, International Relations, Law, Mechanical Engineering, Midwifery, and Psychology.

Alongside this, other students have successfully gained places on excellent apprenticeship programmes, while some are embarking on exciting gap year opportunities.

We congratulate all of our students on their fantastic examination results and wish them every success and happiness as they take the next steps in their journeys.
