Sixth form performance

All Brentford sixth form students will receive educational support of the highest standard within an inclusive and supportive community. Taught by engaging, specialised and talented teachers who encourage students to embrace new ideas and innovative thought and extend their learning both inside and outside the classroom.

Students have personalised programmes of study, recognising and responding to individual needs. The sixth form Leadership team and dedicated support team will work closely with each student to ensure that they get the most out of their experience at Brentford. Students are our first priority, and we focus on enhancing your performance and promoting excellence in learning to lay firm foundations for whichever direction you choose to take after finishing your studies with us.

In 2019, students again celebrated excellent A Level results, with more than a third of all grades at A*-B and approximately three quarters of all grades at A*-C.

We are proud of our Y13 students who continued to achieve impressively despite being the first year of new and much tougher examinations in many subjects. The average grade achieved for A level results was a C, in line with all other schools in the Hounslow borough.

The Extended Project Qualification is offered to our higher ability students in the sixth form and provides our students with additional UCAS points for their university applications. The students who completed this qualification all achieved A*-B grades with 60% of them achieving A*/A grades.

The vital combination of hardworking, aspirational students and dedicated, committed staff has ensured that our students have secured places at the most prestigious universities of their choice.
