Careers Events

Throughout the year we will be hosting various professionals to talk to students about their career journey and tips on how to achieve success in the ever-changing job market.  This term the talks will be on

• Tuesday 9th October

• Wednesday 14th November

Talks are held at lunchtime so please encourage your daughter to attend.

Also, our Futures Fair University & Careers event is coming up: On Wednesday 26th September we will be hosting our annual Careers and Higher Education fair: ‘Futures’.  Last year 14 universities attended alongside representatives from a local college, British Airways and the DWP’s school’s Apprenticeship team. This year, the event will be even bigger and better. If your daughter is in Years 7 – 9, please encourage her to pop into the fair during her lunch break. Students in Years 10 and 11 and Key Stage 5 will have the opportunity to visit the fair during afternoon lessons. Impartial information and advice will be available on a range of Higher Education courses from universities in London and the home counties. Students will be able to find out about a range of progression pathways including A levels, BTEC qualifications, foundation degrees and Degree Apprenticeships. If parents and carers want to visit the fair with their daughter, please get in touch with the Careers Co-ordinator to arrange a suitable time.
