Dear Parent/Carer

Thank you for choosing Brentford School for Girls. We would like to warmly welcome you and your daughter to Brentford. This is the beginning of what we hope will be a long, successful and happy secondary school career. Our aim is to provide your daughter with an excellent education, offering stretching learning opportunities, challenge and support in order to nurture your daughter’s talents and equip her for life in the wider world.

It is important that you have all the relevant information available, to make your transition into your new school as smooth as possible. A booklet will be sent to you in the next few days to provide you with that information. Please read through it carefully, and keep it for future reference. We will also send you copies of our newsletter so that you are able to keep up to date with what is happening in our school community.

Additionally, there will be a series of transition activities that will allow you and your daughter to visit school, meet with staff and sample life at Brentford. A Transition Morning will take place on Saturday 12^th May. This will give you and your daughter the opportunity to learn more about Brentford and to meet key members of staff. On Friday 15^th June, you and your daughter will be invited into school for an interview so we may learn more about your daughter and her interests. Important paperwork will also be collected at the interview. Finally, on Tuesday 3^rd of July, your daughter will take part in an Induction Day to experience a full school day.
