On Saturday 12th May, we hosted our Transition Morning for Year 6 students joining us in September, and their parents. Everybody was given the opportunity to learn more about the school and ask any questions that they may have. Parents were able to take part in several interactive sessions covering transition arrangements, attendance and punctuality, behaviour for learning and teaching the Year 7 curriculum. Students enjoyed a number of taster lessons in Mathematics, Science and DT, where the girls made smoothies, scrunchies and key rings.

Learning & Teaching
It was fantastic to meet so many of our new intake and feedback about the transition Morning was very positive. There will be a number of other transition events taking place between now and September, including an Interview Day on 15th June and an Induction Day on 3rd July, along with a Summer School in August for targeted Year 6 students.
