Transition Morning Saturday 12th May 9.30am-12pm

We are writing to remind you that this Saturday, 12th May is our Transition Morning. This is the first of three transition events taking place this term to give you and your daughter the opportunity to visit school, meet with staff and sample life at Brentford.

Your daughter will take part in a number of activities across several curriculum areas during the Transition Morning. We would ask that your daughter has a pair of trainers with her for the activities. Additionally, your daughter will be able to meet with other girls who will be starting school with her in September.

We will be offering a series of presentations for parents and carers during the morning. These will cover various topics including the secondary curriculum and teaching and learning. The process of transition, outlined in an earlier letter, will be explained in more detail during the Transition Morning. There will also be an opportunity to meet key staff including the Leadership Team, Transition Coordinator and SENCO.

The Transition Morning will give you and your daughter the opportunity to learn more about Brentford and to meet key members of staff and it is very important that you attend. By doing so, it will make your daughter’s transition into her new school as smooth as possible.
