As part of our on-going commitment to effective home-school communication, it is our intention to establish a parents’ forum. A parents’ forum is a meeting where parents and staff may come together to discuss specific school matters, for example, teaching and learning, homework, and extra-curricular activities. Additionally, key school policies may be explained in the forum and further shaped through parental input.
All parents and carers are invited to the first meeting of the parents’ forum on Thursday 26th April. The main topic for discussion will be the school behaviour policy. The meeting will begin at 6pm and will be held in the Hall. There is no on-going commitment required other than your attendance on the evening.
The parents’ forum will be an invaluable platform for the sharing of ideas and viewpoints and it has the potential to impact positively on all members of the school community. I do urge you to attend, and I look forward to meeting you next month.
Should you have any questions about the parents’ forum, don’t hesitate to contact me at school via telephone or email.
